I definitely do it, but mostly for my nails and back of my heel.
The bottoms of my heals don't get as rough but when they start, I just scrub them too.
I walk a lot and can be on my feet a lot during the day.
My heels stay softer maybe because I wash my feet as soon as I get home and after exercise, before bed, etc. so I think that must help with keeping away the viruses ( yes, surprisingly, it's not just weather or dehydration, but mostly skin viruses that cause dry calloused skin). I have a little foot towel to dry them off.
Also, I always prioritize having clean socks.I'm even one of those annoying people who sometimes wears socks with sandals :r
For scrubbing, I have a little 'hedge hog' brush that's like a big hard tooth brush.
Scrubbing your feet really helps keep them healthy!
Last week, I burned my foot ):
Gentle scrubbing is really helping to stimulate and slough off the dead skin for faster healing!10 Reply

Absolutely never. I know, I know since I don't wear anything but sandals unless it's winter I should because women are supposed to have pretty, soft, feminine feet. I have country girl feet- I go bare foot almost everywhere when I'm at home- back yard, garden, field, down the gravel driveway to get the mail, across the road to retrieve recycling, my dog or my nephew etc. If I filed my feet down I'd get stabbed with all number of things (stones, thistles, sharp plants, sticks) and would always be in pain when I went walking. I'd rather have the callouses that let me walk anywhere barefoot. The tops of my feet are nice and soft though- and I usually keep my toes painted. Generally though, I don't worry about it. If you look at my feet from like May to October, they're calloused and more than likely have some dirt on them unless I just showered or cleaned them...

My feet don't go hard, I just get excess, it peels and stuff. Not nice. So I do try and do it but time is an issue in my life! One of these days I'll treat myself to a pedicure!12 Reply
+1 yI was actually quite amused/surprised/appalled at how many people said they do. I knew it was something some people did, but I didn't think it was that common. I've never done it as far as I can remember. My preferred and only footwear is work boots or gumboots. Callouses are welcome on most any portion of my anatomy. Both feet and hands have a rather generous supply, and that's the way I like it. Scrubbing that sh*t off would be like cutting up a good pair of gloves.

This.

Precisely
+1 yI aim for every other day. After a while those callouses start to crack and it gets ugly! Take a look around next time you are at a beach, pool or somewhere where feet are exposed for proof. Besides the wife says they scrape the hell out of her at night. It is just part of a good hygiene routine. Unlike the hands that see a lot of use that tends to smooth the roughness somewhat the feet are padded most of the time.

Mine didn't until I hit 40 and I am in Nikes with soft socks 90% of the time. Don't know if it is age, diet or just what was causing it but I've since read up on it. Wanting to fix the problem and they say that flip flops are a leading cause...guess what I wear the other 10%...lol!

I do it at least once a week if not twice. I do not have rough feet but I hate it when the heels start getting hard and they start making those rough sounds when they rub against the quilt at night. Besides, I absolutely love well kept feet and I admire and respect those girls. On the contrary, I stay away from women who say "oh they are just feet". Yukkkk!

If that makes you think "so that explains", then yes. But my notion of foot fetish is different. People who are foot fetish have all those crazy fantasies of sucking ans sniffing and seeing them in heels and covering them with whipped cream and eating it out from there. Not me. I just admire pretty feet that look pretty when bare, pretty in flip-flops and pretty as long as they show. By the way, I almost have the same towards well kept hands. :)
Last time I checked guys think clean soft feet on a girl is sexy. I don't think they'd want to touch or feel scaly hard feet!
That being said I voted B. That's enough to attain nice feet.34 Reply
+1 yI do it once or twice a week. A pumice stone is cheap and lasts a long time, so even though I'm on a strict budget, this is something I can afford to do. I don't like having rough feet, it bugs me. So I make a habit of scrubbing them.
31 ReplyI never do. My feet are clean and I paint my toes a lot but my feet usually have calluses from my boots, running, or going barefoot in the summer so I don't even bother.

+1 yI have only used one of those things once or twice in my life. I do not need it because my skin on the bottom of my foot never gets dried or hard. I wash my feet daily and take care of it as in rubbing cocoa butter on my feet.

What the hell? Girls do some weird things to their feet.
- +1 y
actually rubbing lotion(cocoa butter) on your feet it not weird at all and quite common.
Don't do it too often because that can cause the skin on your feet to develop callouses more often. Your foot skin will basically say, "Oh crap, we're under attack! MUST. GROW. ROUGHERRR!" And it'll get harder. Every day is a big no no.
00 ReplyI give my feet a file and a good moisturize daily. I don't go to town on the file though just enough to smooth it out. Could be because I'm part Aboriginal that my skin is really dry. I've always taken good care of my skin. As I've gotten older and after 2 kids it started to get worse. My feet feel awesome. Depends on the person and their skin type. Other may not have to do it as often as me or at all.
00 ReplyNever, for those who do, leave your man card on the counter to left... o_O

LOL
I voted once a week since that was the closest. But I do it after about every 3 days.
And I hate it when guys think it is manly to have feet like that of a gorilla from African jungle.00 Replyi did a lot when I use to wear flip flops all the time... now I do it once in a blueeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee moon next to never

30 ReplyOnce a week for me, and a good foot cream . I'm on my feet all day at work!

Opinion Owner+1 yit's really not sad. I'm a hygienic person, but I don't care if my feet aren't pretty, and I don't show anyone my feet so it's not a big deal.
- +1 y
I kinda agree, Its really not a big deal. No one's gonna be lookin at your feet or staring at your feet. I mean, who does that. Who stares at feet. Even those who do, will mostly look at your toe nails and nail color. Most guys who look at a girls feet only like to see her pretty toe nails/ nail color, not your soles. That's why you'll hear a guy say "nice toes" not "nice soles"

@crazylove21
Even guys who don't have a foot fetish do like feet, even if they're not crazy about them: a sexy feet is a sexy feet. Most female shoes were created by man, even high heels were... Since the Man is Man, there has been attention dedicated just to feet.
I don't care about feet, I don't think feet are attractive nor unattractive... I don't care. But there are those who do - although it seems you've never crossed paths with them, you should know it. - +1 y
not even clip your toenails or polish them :o
Opinion Owner+1 yLol, Of course I clip my toenails. I've been doing it all my life. I don't find it necessary to polish them unless I want to though.
Almost everyday, and use a good cream twice a day. Soak once a week.

Anonymous(30-35)+1 yWhats the point? Unless you have really bad feet you should have no need. I hate feet so I try and stay clear of mine as much as possible!
00 ReplyI almost never do it. I might do it every three months or so, but I don't really see the point.
00 ReplyFile and ped egg works or lotions/ creams and bath salts get you feet back to being some what soft.

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yNot a lot to be honest. I'd much rather get a pedicure.
