How unattractive are pale legs in shorts?

Question

I'm really pale. I don't tan because I don't look right tan. My face doesn't tan evenly, and everyone tells me it looks weird.

Well, summer is right around the corner. And shorts get stuffy. But my legs are so pale. How gross is it to wear shorts with pale legs? Some people have told me that I should use tanning lotion on my legs, but I don't see how having dark legs and being pale everywhere else is any better.

PALE IS the most attractive skin. I have to be honest with you, I am crazy about pale skin. I think it suits the girls who have it. I understand you maybe wanting a tan, or some people saying that a tan is good or exotic. That is not the point, people want to look sometimes opposites than what they are. From my experience and KNOWledge I find that guys usually prefer pale skin girls. Its a secret:))). Pale is simply hot. Tan is exotic, for me not so interesting! It suits some girls, but the ones who get the most attention are pale. At least that's what I think, hope it helps!

There's nothing wrong with being pale. Sure, I've gotten the comments about how I need to go tan or whatever from people who obviously don't understand that some people just can't tan. There's nothing wrong with that. Take care of your skin - that's what matters. You'll still have beautiful skin in 40 years - they will look like an old, wrinkled, leather bag.

I love pale legs. And legs in general. I rarely hear men criticize a pair of girlie legs for being too white. That sort of judgment usually comes from other women. Men generally care more about how they feel, (or how they think they feel) than how tanned they are.

Nothing wrong with being pale...at least you don't deal with horrible tan lines. I tan easily when I'm outside and I've had pretty bad tan lines from wearing sunglasses before...I was sitting outside and the sun was hitting one half of my face more than the other which resulted in half my face having tan lines around my sunglasses. My friends always laugh when this happens to me because it really does look ridiculous.

Tanning lotion def works.. but if you’re pale all over the rest of your body, avoid it. It’s all about blending, and you have no natural tan to blend it with.

I think it is best just to look natural.  Some people simply have more pale skin. It does really make your eyes stand out beautiful, and your long hair looks great, so it certainly has its benefits!

Embrace it. I’m fairly pale and really don’t tan either. I can turn a little darker but not much. My skin burns and turns red for about 2 weeks then goes back to being pale. I’ve learned to deal with it.

if you live in the great white north that is the norm. Everyone has white legs. The winters are long. You look more out of place with tan legs. For whatever reason my legs never really get very tan.

I think that, as long as your entire body is pale, it is okay.  It would look weird if the rest of your body were tan and your legs were pale, though.
