Should the Hooters chain be shut down?

I hear girls at my school who say if Hooters get shut down it would make the world a better place what do you think would America be better if Hooters were to shut down completely

I don't see the big deal about hooters.

Its not like those women are prostituting themselves.

Ive never been there but isn't it just a restaurant where the girls wear low cut shirts and shorts?

If theyre not OK with that place then they shouldn't go. If those women need a job and hooters provides them with one its OK. I won't judge because I know how hard it is to find a job in this economy. At least theyre trying to make a living.

Those girls are probably just jealous because theyre not attractive enough to work there

There are plenty of other things that WOULD or COULD make America a better place...and Hooters has nothing to do with it .Or...it would at the very least be at the very bottom of the list,while health insurance,social security,our debt etc far exeed any need to close down a chain of restuarants, that might slightly demean women.People have a choice...either work there...or work else where.

News flash: almost all restaurants hire skinny blond girls with lots of cleavage to serve their food. Hooters is not unique. The only thing that makes hooters unique is the fact that they actively advertise the fact that they use woman as sexual objects, most restaurants do anyway.
