Organic Veggies? I have been getting vegetables from my mom's friend out of his garden so of course its a organic. I am a vegetarian so no meat. I make more fruit smoothies (blueberry, really any fruit, milk, or 110% cranberry juice, ice, one teaspoon of sugar, orange juice, lime or lemon juice) :O So good :) I wouldn't say my diet is completely balanced. Mostly vegetables, beans, bread, fruit, (I get my protein in), Morning Star products.
You have a better diet than most! I live in Southwest Louisiana...sodium can over take a meal when you are cooking for taste and not health!
I try to eat well, but recently realized that I really wasn't eating enough fruits & veggies. So...I have really put forth a big effort to do so & I am only eating fish or chicken once or twice a week. So now, almost all of my fruits & veggies are raw & I feel a lot better. And they are yummy too. Finding more things that I forgot I like.
I think that 'you are what you eat' applies in terms of healthy vs junk foods. If you eat something that has no benefits to your body, your body won't benefit you. If you stick to a cleaner way of eating, with plenty of nutrition, then the body will be stronger and healthier.
How eat doesn't really fit into any of your categories.
I eat what I feel like eating. That means some 'organic' and some fast food. Just whatever I crave at the time. I'll even go to McDonald's, but only for breakfast.
I eat clean but on my cheat day I like a nice burger or something of the sort :)
The fries count as the vegetable quotient that day, it's considered balanced.

I try to go for organic because the farmers are more responsible, and you're not consuming chemicals from fruit/veg and antibiotics and fattening injections from livestock.
After that, I try to eat a balanced diet. That's not balanced meals though, because it could be: cereal in the morning, seeds as a snack, a bowl of veg for lunch, fruit as a snack, meat/fish and anything for dinner and fruit for desert.
B and E. Yes, I believe you are what you eat. Your body is literally made with the molecules you get from food, and any toxins you consume will have an impact as well. I eat all food groups including sugars and fats, but in moderation.
If I could live off of fruits and veggies, I would. Indulge every once in a while, but for the most part, just fresh fruits and veggies. Once I have my own place, that's probably all I'll end up buying.
I love all food. I have an appreciation for healthy food- fruits, veggies, etc.
But I also love hearty food like pasta, steak, burgers, all of that.
Not a huge fan of fast food- tastes too fake to me.
A balanced meal with an emphasis on protein and fiber is what makes me feel the best, physically. I feel sluggish if I don't have beans and meat :P Fruit makes me feel great too but I don't have as much as I should, it gets expensive :/
How about a new question with a better poll? I chose the balanced meal which is kind of vague. Your poll was kind of extreme. You have vague, very bad for you, then good for you vague, good for you, and then good for you lol.

lol so you went through a time of your life just eating veggies and then a part of your life eating fruits and veggies? Wow. I would of had -vegetarian/-balanced, meats, fruits, grains, and veggies/-the who cares diet, fast food junk food etc-people are fooled by organic. There are many lies when it comes to that so I would not even bother putting that in.
well when you have health problems and medicines that causes these health problems, yes staying away from meat was an option and still an option at this point. So veggies and fruit did become my new best friend!
understood! But when you are not able to hold it down, your body is telling you something. Medicine I have been taking for 25 years, plays a big part of it. I eat chicken, every now and then I will eat a bite of red meat. So I try to eat balance the best my body allows me to.

my favorite food category is ice cream...hahaha. I eat it almost every day. It's bad I know...but I work in an ice cream store I can't help myself!

This is the second food question I saw on here today, I love all food. Ide say I love fast food and junk food but I don't eat it any more because it made me fat and is not healthy.
I think a balanced meal is important, but most of it should be made up of organic (fruits, veggies, nuts and seeds) and of course a little bit of dessert won't hurt, but all within moderation ...unless you have a food sensitivity of course

Definitely all organic, but balanced. My food needs to be clean, I can't eat fast food, but I also can't eat just fruits/veggies.

I try to eat mor balanced meals Although I really love a good salad with a little bit of vinegar. Also I love exotic fruits
I eat foods that are cheap and healthy. Out of the choices, I choose balanced meal.
