Is having a lisp a deal breaker ?

I have a small lisp. No idea whether or not if it comess from my crooked teeth or not. But I feel bad enough about how I look. Is having a lisp a turn off/deal breaker and what can I do? Honesty please

Oh wow ok i’m like a year late, BUT i will say this. My current crush has a lisp, and I noticed after hearing him talk at school. So it is noticeable if you’re observant. I think his is cute! Not sure if that’s because I like him so now i think everything about him is cute? I don't know. But i like it. It’s cute. And I don’t like how he seems self conscious about it, because he can’t help it! I don’t mind it at all, it’s not a dealbreaker. If you truly like the person for more than just looks, you won’t mind. It’s just speech. You can still talk lol. Preference wise, I don’t mind either way. i like it

not at all! everyone has their imperfections. if someone isn't willing to look past your lisp then

they are not right for you. one of my good friends has a lisp and I've gotten to the point where I don't notice it anymore. you'll find someone who likes it one day. but like someone else said, being self concise about it won't help!

A lisp comes when the bottom of the tongue is still attached (tiny bit) to the bottom of the mouth. A small lisp isn't bad, and no its usually not a deal breaker for girls, especially for me... I tend to like guys with a lisp, or accent...lol

and don't put yourself down about the way you look, you look fine.

I used to have a lisp I just had to work on it a lot and now I don't have it. Chances are the only reason you have one is because of how you place your tongue when you say S. it should be behind your teeth not under them try looking at YouTube videos. But anyway its really not a big deal. :D

Yes, it's probably a deal breaker for me if he can do something about it but doesn't. But tbh, even if he couldn't, I probably wouldn't date him because it's a pet peeve to me. I've been surrounded by people who CAN speak properly but just can't be stuffed. Over time it influences the way I speak if I spend a lot of time with them. Sorry.

If it's something you can change by observation, do that, you can get someone to help you out, they can look at how your lips, jaws and tongue move and they can tell you what you're not doing right. I did this with my sister and yeah, it works, you just need to want to change it and be persistent, patient and determined.

If you don't want to ask someone, you can just look carefully at how peoples' lips move (use YouTube?) and check how yours moves with a small mirror. Pick someone who has the
