I really don't think this is a good idea. You'll only end up crash dieting and starving yourself. I lost 2 stone over the course of 18 months. I was 11st 6 and now I'm 9st 6.
If you want to know how to lose weight and keep it off for long term though, and not for a quick fix, all you have to do is ONLY EAT WHEN YOU'RE ACTUALLY HUNGRY.
My problem used to be eating for an emotional comfort, or because of sheer boredom. Like when I'm missing my boyfriend I go to the fridge constantly, but luckily I've learned to stop myself.
If you're bored, you need to find something to do with your time. Like a hobby. You just need to occupy your time, and whenever you go to the fridge, think "Am I bored?" or "Am I feeling emotionally unsatisfied?" - don't go straight for the cake, because the whole 'eat now think later' mindset doesn't keep the fat off.
It really is for more of a quick fix.. My prom is coming up and I recently put on a load of weight and can no longer fit into my dress
No, not if you actually want to keep it off for good and not have it come right back on again. You're also not severely overweight, so the weight isn't going to come off as quick. Just be patient and do it slowly ( a pound or less a week). With every pound you'll be more motivated, especially when you notice it staying off. Trust me, I've tried the crash diets, and it never stays off. Only when I did it slow with actual life changes did it come off and stay off. It took me about 3 1/2 to 4 months to lose 11 lbs and it was so worth the wait because it never came back on, even when I cheated from time to time.
The most I'd try to lose in 2 1/2 months is 8-10 lbs maximum and maybe not even that much because you're not very overweight.
It might be physically possible, it will be very difficult to do though. Your looking at losing more than 2 pounds a week, meaning you'll need a calorie deficit of more than 7000 kcal a week, so at least 1000 kcal a day. You'll need very strict dieting and intense exercise to achieve that.

its possible but very difficult I'm sure. you would need to eat a strictly clean diet with very little sugars and simple carbs, a lot of lean protein and healthy fats (monounsaturated and polyunsaturated) and some complex carbs. youd need to be working out 6 days a week mixing both cardio and weight training in and a very minimum of 30 min a day. also drinking a lot of water and getting your vitamins and nutrients is key.
like I said, its possible but youd have to be very determined, tough minded, consistent and strict.
also the week before the event or whatever I suppose you could "slim down" by basically just dropping a lot of water weight (up to 5-10lbs) which will come right back afterward. you can search YouTube videos on ways to do this safely and effectively. something like "7 day slim down" or "dropping water weight".
any other questions, feel free to ask.
I doubt it. 15 yes, 25, doubt it.
