I bit my lip in my sleep...Will the blood mark go away? (Picture)

If that kind of a bite wouldn't heal, I would have permanently red-stained lips all over xD

Don't worry, it'll go away. Your lips look chapped though, and I think that's a bigger deal. As girly as it may seem, use some chapstick on that, for goodness' sake! Also, exfoliate (just mix some sugar with olive oil and whatever kind of oil you have at home, rub your lips with it for 20 seconds or so and rinse, they'll look better).

It doesn't look horrible. I'm sure it will go away if you leave it alone and ice it a little bit. I hate when I bite my lip or cheek :(

Your chapped lips are more of a distraction , I hardly notice the small cut.

Yeah that will heal in no time. It's just a little cut. That's nothing. I split my lip in December 2012 when I broke my jaw while playing football and the scar on my lip is still there. Maybe it's permanent, not sure.

Btw, how did you bite your lip in your sleep? Did you have a nightmare?

The mouth heals really quickly, you can ice it if you want, but it shouldn't last long

It'll heal just fine. If anything, put some antibiotic on it to help the healing process. It will swell up and might puss for a little bit, but nothing an ice cube won't fix.

It doesn't look horrible, it's just a red dot. I have that from time to time too and after a day or two it's gone. No worries.

Its kinda blurry, but yea, as long as you leave it alone and don't playu with it, it should be fine and clear up within a week or so.

Yeah. I had the same thing and it disappeared after a month or so.

yes that will easily go away, you need to get some chap stick though your lips are peeling

Yes I have split my lip and had worse marks from my daughter throwing her head back. It doesn't take very long.
