Is this going to leave a scar?

To help lower chances of scaring do moistize it when it heals eith some oils, like coconut oil, but at this stage its too early and probably needs some clean bandages and desinfection keep it clean from bacterias.
Once its dry to touch then start keeping it moist to help healing and reduce chance od scaring
From the look of the picture, I'd say go to the doctor.
There is a lot of open area that could cause problems.
As for scarring or not, that depends on how deep the burn is. That can only be determined by medical professionals who know a whole lot more about such things than I do.
You need to go to the doctor and get a bunch of shots to make sure it won't be infected; But on the plus side: the scar is gonna look super cool!
So i took your advice and took a bunch of shots , I already have enough uncool scars
Yes, you do need to see a doctor because you need a tetanus shot if you have not had one recently.

Jesus effing Christ, you Americans and your silly Tiptoe Through the Tulips with your healthcare system!!! :-o
I would go to the doctor for a much smaller wound than that - if you catch a more drastic infection you could end up losing that leg.
Healthcare is expensive. Theirs been a few times where my body nearly gave out on me and I just kinda let it happen because medical insurance is expensive.
Dude that looks infected. Get it checked out. Anything bigger than a 50p coin (or whatever big coins you have locally) and doctors need to look it over.
Oh yeah your definitely going to get a scar but at least the damage appears to be thin so the scar should clear up rather well after a while
Also how did you burn yourself?
I've had a lot of burns but never anything like that. I've walked barefoot on pavement that was literally hot enough to cook an egg, I stuck my hand on a red hot stove (child abuse makes you do dumb things) im clumsy and poor boiling water on myself all the time and i even had chemical burns yet I've never seen a burn like that before
(Forgot about my friction burn)
Not if you put DMSO and collodial silver on it. Just bear in mind that it's not something that can be used without full research since it can be dangerous if misunderstood.
Yes it will leave scar! U shud go to doctor for a cream.. what happened mannn
those look like some 2nd or 3rd degree burns... please get it checked out
I would say that will most likely leave a scar. As for the second part yes I would definitely see a doctor.
It will leave a scar. You might get lucky and it not be a permanent scar, if you are really lucky it may fade after about 10 years. Just be glad it is on your leg and not on your face.
It looks like 3rd degree burns. You need to go to an ER now.
Are you kidding dude? Those are 2nd degree burnings! I had this happen to my hand. Go to the hospital asap.
That shit looks infected. Get that treated and looked at by a professional.
Yes you should definitely see a doctor. That is a very large wound and is at risk of getting infected.
The Unitied States has the best healthcare system in the world..
Honestly, it probably will but it depends on your body and how it heals. I’ve had things I thought wouldn’t heal and they did
that is a serious burn
needs hospital attention
may require cosmetic surgery
How’d you burn your leg?
Its kind of a long weird story gimme a second
So i was driving a 1999 ford taruse and it has back seats that fold down and i had a gas can back there as I was driving I flicked a cig out the window , so I thought it landed in back seat by gas can the smoldering cig I think caught the seat on fire and the gas can had the cap on it with a giant hole in it , as I pull down the street a big fireball came from the back seat area caught my leg and my shorts on fire I threw my car in park and jumped out put my self out and tried to get to my phone to call 911 but was unsucsecfull and the car was burning so I had to run home and call 911 and they came and put it out the fire dept dude says it was probably the gas can that did it and i signed a waiver because i did not want to take ambulance ride so I just went home instead
That’s crazy. Why didn’t you go to the hospital so it could get treated?
ambulance rides are between $2K and $5K usually. Hospital visits, especially ED are going to also be hundreds and maybe thousands of dollars.
I had a motorcycle accident with my ex on the back. She took the ambulance to ED, I took my motorcycle to the house. She got medical treatment, I scrubbed my wounds in the shower with a Scotchbrite abrasive sponge. My wounds got cleaned better than hers, and I have no scarring; she has a permanent tattoo where they didn't get all the tar and asphalt out of her arm.
PS I'm an EMT/Firefighter, so I know what needs to happen. I showed up at the ED after I patched myself up (45 minutes to an hour and a half later) and she still hadn't been admitted. I could tell one of the techs working on her was in training and had to get walked through the steps. He was too gentle and gingerly cleaning, which is why the extra crap was left in her. Even though she got a lot of painkiller drugs.
oh yeah the point was to say my costs were $2 in gas. Her costs were about $5K. So yeah, I prefer not to take ambulance rides. I had a helicopter evac from another motorcycle accident, it was $40K. Luckily, AAA paid for it.
Yes it will. Get better
Yes and yes, you should Al ready gone to the er!

I'm pretty sure it will, yeah.
