Will Superbowl XLVIII go down as the worst in history?

Question

I thought that this would be a game but it isn't. The Broncos are getting their asses handed to them right now 36-0 .  I was on a superbowl live chat room  just a few minutes ago and people have already stopped watching the game  . I wonder  if Richard Sherman will scream and talk trash after this one lol.

I thought it was awesome. I love seeing one team excel and dominate the other. I thought it was quite a spectacle in magnificence. It was wonderful to see the Seahawks obliterate the Broncos defense and to see their defense shut down the Broncos offense to the point that said offense through most of their time in the game just couldn't get anywhere literally like a brick wall.

I don't see how one team performing magnificently and obliterating the other makes a bad superbowl. A bad superbowl would be if each team performed on that kind of abysmal level which the Broncos did. Both teams performing so poorly.. that would be horrible.

It's up there for sure and I've seen many super bowls over many years. But realistically there were some back in the 80's and 90's that were even worse (San Francisco 55-10 over *ahem ahem* Denver lol) although I liked that one because I'm a 49ers fan. But I remember Buffalo, NY Giants and Oakland all stinking up the joint in various super bowls.

No it is being played 20 minutes from where I live, so for  that reason alone it is great.

I don't think there has been a Super Bowl blowout since 2002, when the Raiders got killed by the Buccaneers 48-21, that loss marked the beginning of the downfall of the Raiders

No, there have been worse superbowls in history. The Broncos actually got their asses handed harder to them in the past before at a superbowl.

Quite possibly. Usually every superbowl the game is really tight but it was apparent that the broncos were going to lose after a while.
