I'm the one who can sometimes be called childlike, or childish by people around me due to my interests, or goofy demeanor that surfaces sometimes. I would certainly not resent a guy for engaging in activities people may find childish. Honestly, on some level, I'm worried I may not be mature enough myself and I'm a 20 year old girl.
Maybe, if I really fell in love and my SO wanted to do something very dangerous, I would beg him not to.
But as long as he is (reasonably) safe, I probably wouldn't mind any hobby he takes up. From skateboarding, gaming on PS4, all the way up to Yu Gi Oh cards.
Though if he were to buy an Xbox, I'd leave his ass. xD
I don't think it's childish at all. It involves a lot of skill and its pretty damn physical. My boyfriend skates and I think it's cool.
I can see myself still playing video games when I'm in my 60s.
