Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player of all time. LeBron James is the greatest basketball player in the game today. If LeBron gets as many championship rings as Michael has, then he will certainly be considered Michael's equal, in my opinion. If he surpasses MJ in rings, he may be the greatest of all time.

LeBron's only 29. He could surpass MJ. We'll see. Some people would already argue (and with good reason) that he's better than MJ. Personally, I still think MJ is the greatest of all time, because he's got those 6 NBA championship rings.

I disagree. LeBron is a more complete player than MJ. LeBron James can literally play every position on the floor. Point guard, shooting guard, small forward, power forward, post. But he doesn't have 6 rings. MJ does, and until LeBron matches that MJ's the greatest of all time.
