I sweat myself all night and find it hard to fall asleep due to the heat... How do people without a/c cope such as in hot 3rd world countries?

India South america Africa Like howdo poor people deal with exteeme heat. Im in nyc. So its not like im in arizona where im pretty sure a/c is mandatory for survival...(right?) But i am dying over here dude
