I used to collect sports cards and Spiderman comics. Some of you might gave noticed I collect photos of interest on my profile pics. With smartphones, who doesn’t take pictures?
I also happened upon this weird tradition of family members buying me nutcrackers. I asked for a single nutcracker one year, then twenty years later, I’ve amassed an army of like 50 of them without asking. My buddy used to say he pictured me in a rocking chair on my front porch in my 80s surrounded by nutcrackers.
This makes me think of the movie Phenomenon when John Travolta stuffed his house full of chairs his love interest had made both to support her and as an excuse to talk to her. “I love those chairs, Lace.”
