Yes. Created an oasis. It's seen better days lately. But it takes a lot of work. It would clean up in no time.

  It's not that bad. lol Everything just needs feeding... and there is an enormous pile of downed (some cut) tree branches to cut up.

I do. It's actually my dream to do homesteading to live off the land, and be as self-sufficient and sustainable as possible. The funny thing is I never had any real interest in gardening until my late 20s. But my mom has always been an avid gardener, and eventually it just sort of clicked with me and I developed a passion for it.
With the limited space I do have, every year I grow about four different varieties of tomatoes, several herbs, as well as lots of kale and lettuce and some peppers. I just wish I had more space where I am now to grow more things. Eventually, I'd love to have a huge garden to grow all of my food, as well as native flowers, trees, shrubs, grasses and aquatic plants to benefit pollinating insects, birds and other animals. I'll build an absolute oasis when the time comes.
