The last few concerts I went to were free. I think Glen Campbell was the last one I saw. That was an event that hired him to play.

The last full size paid concert was probably in the late 70s. I have no idea who it was though. Three possibilities are Yes, Bob Seger and Bob Dylan.

Tickets were probably around $6-7. Concerts used to be much cheaper. Bands made their money from album sales. Concert tours were to support the album. Now that people download individual songs for 0.99 or free, bands are forced to tour if they want to make any money - and ticket prices have skyrocketed.

I have not been to a concert for many years. It was way before Covid. I have tix to see Tom Rush in August. I think I paid 65$ including the service fee.

It was Earth, Wind, and Fire with Chicago held at theater at the Villages about two years ago. Think tickets were about $75.

Wow, you never went to a concert? You should find out when Paramore is performing and get tickets and go. It is a different experience than seeing them on TV.

Nope but I will whenever I have the time and money to go. I work a lot and get paid very little. I usually never have enough money to go. But I will try sometime this summer if I can. I would love nothing more than to go to one.
