I had a slinky for years. My Mum gave it to my cousin though, and it was twisted up within a week!

I could keep a slinky for months. I think they were made better in the 80s.

I think I never had one for more than 2 weeks before I ruined it. I was a clumsy kid and still am moderately clumsy which I believe is due to the fact I never played sports as a child so my hand eye coordination was never properly trained.
