Yes! I attended my first display July 4th 2020 at a nearby lake. It was awesome. Cece was 5 months old and upon the first firecracker took off like a streak. We hunted for her for hours until the park closed at 12. I came back at opening at 7 am and searched further. I finally gave up about 9 am. Then a couple of kids were walking up from the shore and asked if anybody had lost a black and white puppy. Dang! She was under a bush on the edge of the water. Im certain she had been in that same spot for right close to 12 hours. Poor little girl. That was the first time I nearly lost her.

They've never been that amazing to me honestly. They're just some lights in the sky. I honestly feel more amazed by a clear night sky where you can see the stars clearly to the point they fill up the sky. I love going camping in areas with no light or air pollution just for that.

Yes, but I don't have explosion trauma. My mum lived through world war II and remembered my grandmother being blasted back into the home when a bread basket bomb dropped nearby. Among others. Fireworks made her uncomfy but not terrified.

I do but, at the back of my mind, I'm concerned about accidents and property damages caused by fireworks.

When i was a kid every year we’d have a huge firework show during the opening ceremony of the my town’s sports club


I used to feel like I’m levitating while looking up and seeing them


As an adult they don’t mean much to me anymore but they do trigger memories of simpler times

Yes, but i enjoy being able to listen to them too; preferably in person. The powerful detonations that you can feel as much as you can hear are exhilarating to me!

Who doesn't? Except that one time I booked NYE on top of a sky scraper. I thought they'd be bursting beside me. Nope they were bursting a long way below me. Very disappointing.
