Do vantage Victorian buildings bring you peace?

I've recently made the choice to buy a vantage home and it feels way more peaceful then a HOA home community. I went to consignment store and but vantage furniture and decorations something nice vintage elegant I don't decorate for the seasons. I even made my own curtains. I am planting my own fruits and vegetables floral decor outdoors. So much going on out there in the world. I made this decision and honestly it's the best decision and I do not regret it. It is way way much better then living in a HOA. Do old vintage buildings or homes bring you a peaceful vibe.

On another note; I totally agree, even though I'm not a Christian, when I see Victorian style cathedrals from the outside and then go inside just I feel an impalpable serenity.

I like looking at VINTAGE Victorian buildings, many of which are located on Windsor's Victoria Avenue, a few blocks from my assisted living centre in Downtown Windsor.
