Howw should I convince her?

I put a post last week about my friend being in a motorcycle accident. Yesterday I cleaned my harley and my wife doesn't want me riding now. I could just ride anyway but it wouldn't be right. Any suggestions?

It seems most of you say don't ride it. I did not go out today.

There used to be a guy member on here who had a friend who is a woman. She also drove a motorcycle 🏍️ everywhere.

One night after she got off work, she rode her bike to go home. But instead of arriving safely at home, she was taken to the hospital because she hit a light pole, flew up into the air and landed on the curb with her face!!

She lost the lower part of her left leg. Had to have one kidney removed. She had a heart attack right after she crashed and before she arrived at the hospital. Her face doesn't look the same and her eyes 👁️ 👁️ aren't symmetrical anymore.

She suffered other injuries as well but I thought I'd stop there.

She is now, years later, completely dependent on people to take care of her and she is only in her 20's.

What’s not right is you letting your wife control you. You’re a grown man. Act like it. It’s a fair bet that you aren’t allowed to tell her what she can and cannot do. If you did, it would be considered “abuse”.

When I met my wife I was in the process of shopping for a bike. She is a physical therapist and has patients who were in motorcycle accidents She said it was a dealbreaker for her. I bought a Scout instead.
