What is the most hated outdoor chore?

The weeds in my driveway will be the death of me.

Pulled as much as I could out today. Will respray it tomorrow then hopefully in about a week ill throw some creeping thyme into the cracks. Something is going to grow there why not something I choose? 🤣

Weeding and weed eating once a year.

Our house is in the middle of 30 acres on a sloping hillside. We have a 4/10 mile. long gravel driveway.
Every spring, with the winter and spring rains, the wild grasses and weeds, including the dreaded star thistle, grow. The view is beautiful because the landscape i's green and looks like Ireland.
We wait for late spring when the grass dries out and turns yellow. Then I have to weed eat all around our house, garage, solar panels and shed, the sloping orchard area inside the deer fence, a big sloping area on the side of our back yard, the sand filter for our septic system below the orchard that is thick with star thistle by then, both sides of our driveway, a large area at the bottom of our driveway, and the 700 feet along the road at the front of our property. We have to make everything look nice and also reduce the fire hazard.
It is a nightmare but once the weed eating is done, it stays nice until next year.
We have barely started this year. Arghhhh!

However, weeding in the garden is ongoing until well into summer.

I wish it stayed nice that long. Can't wait for the onion weed and marsh marigolds to start popping up too! Hopefully my thyme driveway will help

Cleaning the outside of my house windows. I’m short so I have to use a mop to reach the top windows, and I don’t own a water blaster.

This is my second attempt to answer your question, I don't think my first attempt went down too well with you lol.

There's nothing fun about chores inside or outside!

But to save your consternation, I would ditch your tool for a spade across the cracks, to save you digging up, or pulling up the grass or weeds, just a brush and shovel is needed to sweep them up.

personally, I don't hate any outdoor chores per se, what I really don't like at all... is that I have to do all of them during the Hellish, Summer in Texas when it is not only above 38Celsius but also humid AF...

dry heat, I don't mind it much anymore but high humidity... screw that shit, lol

I hate cleaning out the gutters. It is a dirty job and I do not like going up on ladders. I always hose all the dirt and debris out of the gutters after cleaning the leaves out of it. It is usually cold out becuse i wait until all the leaves have fallen off the trees and O usually get wet from the hose so I am always cold while I do it.
