Thanks. I hope so. I've had several people tell me I could have a movie made of my life.
We used to have a summer home about a 45:00 drive from here in the woods between a barely used dirt road and a creek. Sometimes, my grandmother would stay there for a few weeks at a time. Her family built it for her back in the early `30's. Grandma collected antiques and, up at camp, she had, among other things, an old 4' tall Edison record player right next to the stone fireplace. As the house was in a valley, t. v. reception was very weak and we MIGHT get one or two stations with loads of static.
A few times, we'd spend the night up there and would nearly HAVE to find our own entertainment so, I got the idea that if we shut out all the lights and just used a pair of flashlights, we could emulate old silent movies and improvise our own silent comedy routines. So, two of us would sit at one end of the room, each with a flashlight and point them at the fireplace waving them up and down rapidly and it made a strobing effect at the fireplace so that, anybody moving around in that area looked like they were part of an old silent movie so, whoever was gonna do the acting, would put on one of the Edison records as the musical backing and then they'd perform their improv with one or two others that helped them and it looked really cool and was pretty funny.

My most nostalgic memories are movie nights with my parents. 🎬
They loved old art films, and I’d sit on the floor with a sketchbook, pausing scenes to draw the characters. That’s really how I fell in love with cinema and drawing.

Also, those lazy summer days when cousins visited, making “movies” on a cheap camcorder and painting together still feel like pure magic. 🌅✨

Probably my sister's baptism in late June/early July 1967. On that day, almost everyone that I knew at that point in my life was at my house. You need to think about that for a moment: Everyone you have ever known is surrounding you. At 4.5 years old, that is a form of Heaven.

I cut myself that day because I took a razor blade and tested its sharpness against my left forefinger tip. I still have a very noticeable scar running diagonally along the fingertip. So, I am forever reminded of that day because of that scar.

Sadly, my uncle would die very soon after at age 38 or 39. Then, no longer was everyone I ever knew there.

When I was 8 years old, I was on vacation in China for 3 weeks, and it was Chinese New Years there, and my aunts and uncles got me a red and gold coloured card that was scented inside. That was one of the happiest moments of my trip to China that year.

I also remembering climbing the Great Wall of China in my winter jacket and I was happy to be photographed in my winter coat because everybody told me I looked nice in it.

In my 20's my happiest memory was receiving prophetic dreams from God in my sleep during my vacation to Antigua. I also liked chatting with a retired CEO at the hotel because he told me he took care of his sick wife for over ten years before she died, and I like to talk to good people that I respect.

Now, they just go themselves. I did use it for spring break but only with friends.

When I was a teenager, my family rented a cabin at a camp for the summer on Lake Ontario. Met some very interesting people. One highlight was the huge bonfire we had every Saturday night, telling ghost stories and roasting marshmallows.
