For me it's games, both video and board. I have 2 closets full of board games. For video games, I have gaming systems going back to the atari and coleco all through the years to the newer xbox series x and a switch 2. Most of my games though are on Steam which I do have a steam deck for and my games exceed over 200ish.
It's an addiction at this point lmao
Awesome!
I always avoided hoarding, of all of the above, hoarding sympathies, hoarding fun, hoarding success, but because it is actually never a conscious choice, i still ended in the act of hoarding in mysterious and more unreasonable ways. I think Gabor Maté said something useful about him hoarding old music or something. Lately, whether i catch myself obsessively hoarding or avoiding obsessively, i try to find the most painful mental process possible and plunge right into it. As children we all did it naturally and it is wrong to force ourselves to stop it. One could say that i am hoarding sadness but I'm just concentrating it until i squirm and look like I'm silently screaming, and then the sadness evaporates, eventually, after quickening the hell instead of dragging it around and dumping on others.
Wacky Packages; they're a spoof on existing household products. 'Cheer' detergent was called 'Sneer', etc. They're sold like baseball cards and card sized stickers. They've been around for about 60 years now.
I collect coins. My father got me started when I was 5.
I don't obsessively collect them, nor do I board anything.
I have a collection of coffee mugs that are souvenirs from travelling, but I wouldn't say I'm obsessive about them. I like them because when I use them they remind me of nice holidays I've had. Are the items you listed things you collect?
cats...
Real cats?
yeah... I would not mind to be a crazy cat lady hoarder, lol
Adorable, but to much work. Don't they mess the house upside down?
I can't really tell or speak on dozens of cats, lol...
I only have three cats and a dog, and at least to me... they're not really a problem
but I did raise/train them
dogs can be more messy, that's for sure, lol
I guess it depends how trained they are and taken good care of
yes... right (=
My teddy bear collection now exceeds 150.
Cool!
Dead presidents.
Huh? Interesting
You seriously don't get that? Loot, skrilla, lettuce, greenbacks. Is any of these names getting through?
I have a lot of shoes
