It's that time of year again where we look towards the New Year and look back on how we did in 2018. Maybe you were one of those who rocked it in 2018! If so, congratulations on the great year! Or maybe you feel you need a redo! Well now is your chance!
Ringing in the New Year is a great time to make a change. To celebrate I thought I would count down the top 5 New Year's Resolutions. Are any of your resolutions on this list?
Let's Count Down the Top 5!
5) Kick a bad habit!
Quit smoking, give up pop, stop chewing your nails! There are so many bad habits we pick up through a lifetime. Maybe you picked up a nasty smoking addiction or maybe you want to cut back on your drinking. Perhaps you are really bad at procrastinating or need to keep your room more tidy. Are you planning on kicking a bad habit in 2019?
4) Self-Improvement!
New Year, New Me! Now's your chance to make a change! Looking back at the past year, did you feel you accomplished all the things you had hoped? Were there some things you wished you did differently? Maybe you wished you had the courage to stand up to that bully at school. Or perhaps you wanted to feel more confident in dating? Maybe you want to take some time to learn a new skill to improve your life? Are you looking at doing any self-improvement in 2019?
3) Travel
Time honestly goes so quickly, it's easy to get caught up in the daily grind. A lot of people may look back at 2018 wishing they had made more time for travel. Where are you headed in 2019?
2) Money Management
Not only do we indulge in savory foods during the holidays. But many people find their pocket books take a hit too! It's easy to slide into debt over the holiday season as it is a major money spending time. This time of year can leave you broke and wishing you had budgeted more carefully! This is why I have put money management as number 2 on my list.
1) Losing weight
This one is probably the most common New Year's resolution people make. Once the holidays are over, people feel bad about the food that they indulged in. They may decide they want to revert back to their healthy routine or start a totally new health routine. Maybe it's your goal to hit the gym more. Or maybe you are getting into fitness for the first time. Are you starting any healthy habits in the new year?
