New year is literally around the corner, so why not talk about the music I loved this year? Now not all of these songs will be from 2019, just songs I've listened to this year, that I like. Anyways let's get on with it.
#1 - Sunflower - Post Malone & Swae Lee
Needless to say I love this song ;)Now I loved the Spider-Verse movie, and I'm not surprised it won an oscar because it was definitely oscar worthy :P
It's just a nice chill song, it's got a good beat, it's clean- I don't mind profanity in a song if it isn't too much but a clean song is always good too- and the "you'll be left in the dust" always reminds me of infinity war xD
#2 - What's Up Danger - Blackway & Black Caviar
Following on nicely from "sunflower" this is another Spider-Verse song I loved.
I liked the whole Spider-Verse soundtrack but these two songs are my favourites.
I love the whole vibe this song gives off, it's such a Spider-Man-ish vibe, and it's really catchy. :P
#3 - The Aladdin (2019) Soundtrack
I can't really pick between any of these songs to be honest. I love them all.
Jasmine and Aladdin both had amazing voices, and Will Smith well he's a legend anyway so it's obvious he has an amazing voice.
Speechless was such an amazing "I can do this" vibe kinda song, and in "One Jump" song Aladdin is basically me when he says:
"These guys don't appreciate I'm broke"😂
And the "a whole new world" song is just amazing their voices suited each other perfectly and Jasmine's voice is so powerful and Aladdin in this movie, sounds exactly like 1992 Aladdin!
Then Will Smith. Just wow. I love what he did with "Friend Like Me" the beatboxing fit in so well with it, his voice was just fire, and I also loved the "Friend Like Me" at the end with DJ Khaled- the lyrics are just so clever and even though Will Smith is 50 now, he's still a better rapper than most modern ones today😂😂And I say this as a Gen Z kid😂Then not to mention in "Prince Ali" how he crushed it too!
So yeah this soundtrack is amazing and I can't choose a favourite!
#4 - A lot Of The Greatest Showman Songs
I just put the whole soundtrack because it's easier than pasting each song😂😂
But my favourites from there have to be...
This Is The Greatest Show - I remember watching the movie for the first time and just being in awe of the song, the video- just everything- I was watching it in the dark too so it was even better😂😂And it's really loud so it's good at blocking everyone out at college😂
A Million Dreams - I like the movie version because I think the little boy has a good voice, it's cute song, and then Hugh Jackman's voice is really good too- and it's just a nice song about dreams and stuff, and it makes me happy😂😂I remember I came back from a school residential last year and this song wa
The Other Side - I love how this song is like a nice arguement- it kinda reminds me of a polite fight😂😂And their voices again are so good together😂
Never Enough - Her voice is amazing, and I like the part that goes "all the shine of a thousand spotlights all the stars we steal from the night sky"😂😂I just think the extended metaphor and hyperbole is pretty clever here😂
This Is Me - This is like the main song in the movie and I love it because of it's message and their voices are so strong and it's empowering like no matter how weird you are you just do you and don't let anyone bring you down! ^_^
Rewrite The Stars - Firstly Zendaya's voice, like damn she can sing- and Zac Efron really has come so far since his glory in HSM😂And the trapeze stunts👌🏾👌🏾I was again amazed and in awe :P
#5 - Venom - Eminem
I love this song, firstly because venom, and venom links to Spider-Man so how can I not?😂
I don't mind the swearing because it's not extremely dirty- just the odd "F" word every now and then😂
And he just sounds so angry and pissed off and I love that- I guess it's just really fitting to the Venom movie, and the lyrics are so clever and I love how he puts kind-of puns in his songs😂😂

#6 - All For Us - Zendaya and Labrinth
So I don't watch Euphoria, but I LOVE the soundtrack and this song in particular is my favourite.
I just love the beat at the beginning and how messed up it all looks and when she crashes into the fridge😂😂My morning in a nutshell😂
I think she's supposed to be high or something because it's supposed to be a drug show🤷🏾♀️
But again, I love the Euphoria soundtrack anyway because it's depressing and I'm not depressed but I like lots of different music, and depressing music is one of them. Plus, it's so fitting on a morning at college😂
#7 Senorita - Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello
I loved this song in the summer, like if I had to think of a song which screams "2019 summer" it would be this song.
It was just such a chill song to listen to on those summer nights, when I couldn't sleep because of the heatwave, so I'd just switch on this and text my best friend.
And it's by Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello that's just a bonus because I love them both xD
#8 Can You Feel The Love Tonight? - Beyoncé and Donald Glover
So while I did prefer the 90s Lion King to this one, because nostalgia and it's a classic- you can't deny that the songs in this are amazing.
And my favourite is "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" because it's such a nice slow song and Donald Glover and Beyoncé sing it so well.
#9 High School Musical: The Musical: The Series Soundtrack
Now it's no secret that I love High School Musical, and when I heard earlier this year Disney+ was going to drop a High School Musical series, I was like:
"HOW DARE THEY???"
Then I saw the trailer to it, ready to get triggered because I thought it'd be bad, but surprisingly it didn't look bad- and the end part got me not gonna lie😂😂
Kid: *dancing in the hall*
Teacher: "Is there somewhere that you're supposed to be?"
Kid: "Broadway"
😂😂I love that kid already
And Disney have been uploading songs on YouTube and I'm pretty much in love with all of them, so much, that I'll probably do a separate MyTake for those songs😂
Any Last Words?
Well, 2019 will be over for me in a few hours, and to celebrate New Years eve as sad as this sounds I'm just gonna write about stuff in this decade/year we all know and loved😂
