Do you feel hopeful or different when a new year is about to start/starts?

Today I'm having mixed feelings. In one hand I cried many times while thinking about a former GAG user and dear friend who passed away in 2021. R. I. P. Chris, I miss you so much...

In another hand I feel very hopeful. I have a strong feeling that 2022 will be a great year, a year of change. 😊

Thoughts?

It's okay to have mixed feelings,
I used to too, it's just our nature.


I have realised this too late in life... but better late than never,
So remember this, if you want to change the world you start working on yourself first, the world will change automatically.
The first thing we need to improve and Excel is our own attitude and character, even if you feel perfect there is always room for improvement, so never be satisfied, always keep looking for things to be good at and helpful to all human beings.
Also pay it forward is a great trend which needs to be practiced & publicized worldwide to make our planet habitable for our future generations.

I feel hopeful. I plan on going to college this year to get my degree in teaching. But on the other hand I don't know if my relationship will last bc we both want different things regarding kids. We still love each other to death, but I'm uncertain.

Great! :) I also wanted to become a teacher but I'll have to postpone that dream for now. I'm sorry to hear about your relationship. Kids are usually a difficult topic in a relationship but I'm sure you guys will make a good decision together. :)
