Should I attend company holiday dinner?

I’m constantly snubbed and laughed at behind my back my coworkers. I work at a doctors office. My job responsibility has been taken away as check out clerk now I’m just check in clerk. I feel it’s a chance for the doctors and their whores (nurses, medical assistants, etc) to make fun of me. My supervisor who sleeps with the doctors wasn’t invited. She’s the one who has taken away job responsibilities. I’m looking for work elsewhere. I was tuned down for a transfer to another department that made more money. I feel they had a hand in it. I already don’t feel liked why did they invite me anyway. One of the doctors refuses to communicate with me if I have to notify him about a patient. If I don’t go I was told by others it might put my job one the line.

Seems like a shitty place to work. If you don’t want to go. Then simply don’t. That’s really unfortunate because doctors and nurses and medical assistants are supposed to be honorable jobs.

But seems they’re not doing the right thing and you seem to want no part of that kind of lifestyle.

The truth is. That they feel bad about themselves and their life choices. They see you someone who has morals and dignity and self respect and have to tear you down. Because you’re better then them.

Thank you. Yes I feel their energy trying to bring me down. I’m still in the fence. I think it’s a chance for doctors to hook up with medical assistants. They’re not bringing their wives.

Wow. They’re cheating too? Definitely when you work in a place like that. Ir definitely brings a person down.

I never liked parties but that's me. I suggest trying to leave the company completely is best. IF so don't go and give them the opportunity to judge you. If you're in a small town and or little chance outside this company, then go but ask a friend to go with you who has your back! Be polite but very short in your conversations. Remember they are looking for anything to judge you by! I hate when life is not fair!
