You must be the one who asked about sending your parents your Christmas wish list but an Aunt recently passed away. Again this comes down to being a mature adult. When you become a humble mature adult the less you demand and expect to get gifts. It's just a part of growing older. You are very lucky to still have your parents at your age. I lost my mom at 27 and I was your age when I lost my father. I have been with only one man in my life for over 30 years and I don't even ask for anything for Christmas. You need to adopt the attitude of if I get something great and if you do not so be it.

I am an adult, I don't get Christmas presents that I don't buy myself. As an adult you already own what you want. That is in a gift price range, So it's all about food and company. So unless there is kids involved we don't buy gifts.
I hardly ask for anything. If I want something I can get it myself. I appreciate anything really
