It is for me. I usually work so much during the holidays. Best time to make extra money.
How about you?

Generally, yes. It’s a busy month for both my husband and I. I think he’s busier than me though, work wise. He’s a high school teacher, and students take their first semester exams in the last 2 weeks of January. He needs to have everything prepared by the Christmas break so it can be reviewed by administration. And he’s also starting report cards. It’s absolutely crazy, lol.
I’m also a teacher, but grade 1 so the workload is a little easier. I just need to have my January lesson plans submitted before we break for 2 weeks over Christmas.
Both business-wise & social-wise, December has reclaimed the top spot as the busiest month of the year.
Yeah between the gold coming in to be scrapped, the jewellery I sell to my customers and my various seasonal social endeavours
similarly, yes...
but we make even more during the follow-up, January through February

My work was extremely busy in December. I am an attorney and insurance companies have a preference for settling cases in December, so it is always an active month for me. This year, I had two all day mediations on substantal cases on December 8 and 9 and they required several days of preparation. On December 15, I attended the retirement ceremony and reception for a friend who has been a judge for the past 25 years.
I am president of my fraternity alumni association and we hosted an annual holiday party that had about 175 guests. I am president of my church congregation and I led our annual business meeting and election of leaders for next year (after recruiting candidates. I also sing in my church choir and we always sing much more during Advent and Christmas. Plus, we do Christmas shopping for children in foster care so I had one special person to add to my normal Christmas list.
I attended a Christmas jazz concert on December 1, a symphony concert on December 3, and a performance of the Nutcracker on December 17. I spent time with my mother on at least three occasions and I will see her again on Christmas Day. I rented a moving truck and packed up and moved the last of my girlfriend's possessions that were in storage in her old hometown and moved them here for her.
Tomorrow, my girlfriend and I will drive to the mountains in north Georgia and spend a week with my best friend and his wife, including a trip to visit the Biltmore House while it is decorated for Christmas.
Yes, you could say that I've been busy!
@MarcAnthony5 Everything I said is 100% true. Are you challenging that?
@MarcAnthony5 The fact that you have convinced yourself that you are correct does not mean that you are actually correct. I have not misstated any facts in what I said. I am not a liar, and I will not resort to calling you names.
This YEAR, YES!!! xx
Sadly, I"m not that busy, because there are too many naughty people in this world.
I would say yes. But basically a week before Thanksgiving and a week after New Years are the busiest and costliest.
no. it's cold and i'd rather stay home so this is when i use all my PTOs.
My year is winding down, fortunately. I’ll have plenty of work to do till vacation.
