I only spend about $30 on each adult which is my mom, dad, sis and brother in law. For my nieces I spend $40 each so about $200 for all of them. I'm curious because I don't over spend. I got bills to pay and this year just thinking about getting my nieces only as I never know what to get the males
How old are the guys? I spend about 30-40$ per adult too, I do spend around 60-80$ for my parents and godparents cause despite not being religious like my fam, they did take really good care of me growing up. I also do make an exception for my closest cousin since his bday is in the beginning of January so that's usually around 80-100$
For the young ones usually 20$ is enough.
I don't think individually I'm spending too much, but siblings, plus cousins, plus aunts/uncles, plus grandparents and then the kids.. Yeh it adds up fast

For me it depends on the relationship. I used to be super cheap spending only $20-40 on gifts for in-laws and for friends. But two Christmas's ago I spent $150 on a gift for a girl who used to be my friend. I had asked her if she really wanted the gift or if it was something that could've waited. She told me she wanted it, however, because it was a bear from build a bear she assumed it was cheap. She went around telling everyone that she spends over $50 for my gifts every year and that I was always buying her cheap things. Which for the record' I've never bought anything for her under $60, for me that isn't cheap especially if you're not my spouse/partner/parent, etc...
After this incident, I stopped buying Christmas gifts for anyone. That was the year I gifted everyone $100/ea and I stopped going to the parties. It really made me realize how ungrateful people are. The people I gifted were complaining about the money thing too.
Sorry for my rant. 😐
