What’s your go to Christmas cookie?

Do you like Christmas cookies? Do you have a specific type or do guy like the assortment thing?
my gram used to make each of her 15 grandchildren and various others in her community a tin can of Christmas cookies each year. It was the Highlight of so many people’s Christmas was just getting her sweet little can.

The kids and I make a variety of cookies, but these are everyone's favorite (I think). We also make the peanut butter cookies with a chocolate kiss in the middle, sugar cookies cut into shapes and frosted, gingerbread cookies, and the list goes on. I make batches and batches of English Toffee every year that my husband delivers to all our friends and neighbors.

Yes! It's the best part of Christmas. They are almost all adults now, but it's still our tradition. We make more than we can eat.

Lol! That is awesome! You know that with that as a tradition of yours that they will most likely add that tradition to their own families as well. And you will get to pass that tradition on.

This gave me an idea. What if I have all my holiday recipes bound into a cookbook and give each kiddo a copy? What do you think?

I love making people happy with my cooking or baking. The best gift to me would be knowing that my food would still bring happiness after I'm gone.

That is so cool! You should definitely do a cookies book then and then maybe each year you can do another round of fun little books of recipes you love. Or something so your kids can always have your best recipes.
