What's the worst Christmas present you ever got? Did you return it? Would you be upset if a close friend or relative returned something you got the?

The worst gift that I ever received or stuck with was from a Sunday School secret Santa. In this nightmare, one draws a gift and another can steal it up to 3 times. On the third steal, the gift rests with this person. Some can not help it and acceptable gifts. Picked some golf tees and 6 Titleist golf balls. Pretty much, the whole class plays golf as many are retired or whole lifers and shoot par.

The golf gift was stolen next round. At this point, I had to steal another gift or draw another. Stinky candles, ugly coasters, and bad kitchen towels were all that was available so i drew another gift. It ended up being some kind of stained wooden thing. I realized that it was a mail holder that was to be hung near a colonial or farmhouse styled bungalow. It had a big stenciled I think BLUE HEART on the face of it apparently denoting guy friendly.

Needless to says, no one stole that lovely piece of "art". I held on to that for one year labeled in the box with aluminum tree (so I would find it !!!). I brought that back to same event the next year. Our class had grown to about 50 and there was new blood. Everyone else recognized it BUT I did not leave with that "art".

The host is a woodworker with mahogany. His is supposed to be the only nice gift. I drew number 1 which means I get last look and steal no matter how many times a gift had been stolen It was a very good year that year taking the hand pretty large plant pot holder. It hide the plastic plant pots easily. I have a pink fist sized with blue dot like flowers Bromelaid in it. It is a great accent piece in the Empire mahogany furniture room...

I literally received socks and underwear one year. As a teenager. Kept them but it sucked.

And, no, I wouldn't be upset if someone returned a gift. I'm a pretty good gift giver, though, so I'd be surprised.

lmao... if it was a choice between condoms or socks and underwear, yeah, definitely condoms. But, at that age I wanted a computer or video games or a new bike.
