Are you feeling this Christmas?

I know if I was married my husband wouldn’t have to buy me anything for Christmas especially if he was doing his part financially, I have a decent home to live in, a decent up to date vehicle, traveling and wasn’t a cheater. My/our Christmas would be 12 months a year.

I'm working on it but, since there's no one to "feel it" with, it's pretty hard to get into anymore!! The last few years, it's just been another day of the week, to me! No friends, no family, not even a dog! The bunnies running around in the front yard have no idea what Christmas is! They just know that if they show up in my yard at a certain time, there's a pretty good chance I'll toss them a slice of bread to eat.

I confess it has been a wonderful Christmas. We felt it a lot the weekend of Thanksgiving. Then we got crazy busy with non-Christmas busy stuff (school and work) and then finally this past week ramped up with Christmas feeling. It's been good.

Yes, it's always fun and a busy time of year between all our family and all the extra parties.

My parents and I stopped celebrating Christmas a long long long time ago. It is just the three of us that live here, and they are getting up in age. It just isn't worth it to us to go out and get a tree, and put up a bunch of lights etc. However we do give each other some gifts.

I love Christmas, but I did decorate late for me. just yesterday. I normally decorate right after Halloween.
