Nope, just learned my mom gave away my room to my cousin who doesn't know a damn thing about me and her kids and my mom has just been stubborn as a bull with me changing into someone better. And I thought about coming over for a minute...
Sure, ain't something I can control but... doesn't help my situation knowing I have to explain all what's new with my cousin how I haven't talked to in... years.

  Lady and gentlemen... the room ain't the problem. It's the fact that i gotta tell family I don't talk to ever about what's going on with me... and now I gotta start from day 1 of what's been going on.

Honestly, I dread the Christmas season. All of the pressure to buy gifts, send out cards and organize year end get togethers is so stressful. Add to that the commercialism and the holiday has lost all meaning.
Personally, I prefer Thanksgiving. I love the family get-togethers, tons of great food, conversation and cheer.
I'll breathe easier on January 2.

I don't celebrate Christmas but I guess the Christmas season is okay for four things to me -- Watching Home Alone 1 and Home Alone 2 and other holiday movies on tv, seeing family for dinner, having days off from work that are paid days and wrapping up the year to start a new year.

When I took this cleaning job, 21 years ago, Christmas began to die. People are a huge mess during this time of year.

  People don't think about the cleaner. There is one room that I clean. You go into the restroom, there is two large waste cans. They will leave a dirty diaper on the floor in between both of them!
