Do folks do fancy dress on New Year's Eve in your part of the world?

I think it depends on the crowd you run with, not necessarily where you live. We're not going to an elegant event, we're living it up at home with family and friends. Definitely not going to be upscale attire in our home.

We've done this before. Evening clothes for me and gown for her. Went to dinner and a concert. It's not an every year thing, unfortunately. The kids actually really liked us getting dressed up and going out.
