Is it silly to go to Christmas tree lighting and Christmas markets all alone?

My parents first said they plan on going but of course, as always, changed plans and won't go.

My sister with my niece also won't go because it's quite far away from their home.

I have no willing friends nor a boyfriend, I'd still like to see the Christmas tree lightning as least. Is it silly to go alone?

Silly it might be to some but silly is isn’t to me & I always say if other people don’t want to go I’ll go alone & many times I have. If it’s cold out dress warm, be safe & have some hot chocolate & enjoy the wonderful show.

Not at all - the nice thing if you go alone is that you can take your time and enjoy looking at all the Christmas things available in the shops/market and then choose what YOU like best !

i agreed with your suspicion it would be weird. you can see trees on tv or watch hallmark channel or their movies that emphasized decoration.
