Is it weird to go shopping alone?

i mean like for clothes. I like going alone because you can go to the stores you want and not worry about where the other people want to go. the only time it gets kinda weird is when I see people that I know. its not like they say anything, I just feel kind of self conscious. do you think it is weird to shop alone/ see someone shop alone?

Lol, I know what you mean. I went shopping alone last week and my friend called, and when she found out I was shopping by myself she was like "aww, why didn't you tell me? I would've come with you, you don't have to shop alone". Haha, I just told her it wasn't a big deal, but she found it odd. Oh well, I shop alone sometimes, but it's fun with friends too. Actually, I think most of the time I at least take along my best friend. We take about the same amount of time, like a lot of the same stores, and it's a way for us to hang out. I rarely go with more than two people though, it complicates things. Oh, and definitely not my mom, she's probably the most impatient person ever when it comes to shopping lol. Anyway, no, it's not weird :)

Theres nothing wrong with shopping alone. I actually prefer to shop by myself. I don't have to worry about holding anybody up, or waiting on anyone else. I don't need opinions, because if I like it...I like it. Its actually pretty nice, going shopping alone at your own pace. Lots of people shop alone. =)

I defiantly don't think it's weird. I shop all a lot these days. Even when I did have a shopping buddy, I wished there were times when I was by myself. If I do see someone I know, I still don't think anything bad or negative because there isn't any reason to.

I'm not a girl, but as a guy I always go shopping alone. Unless I have no idea where to look for something, than I just take a friend with me.

Nah. I enjoy shopping with other people, but a lot of times I prefer to go by myself. I like to go to the stores I want to go to, look at the things I want to look at, and take as much or as little time as I need. When I go with other people, sometimes I don't feel like waiting around while they try on 50 different outfits, or sometimes I want to take my time and they start feeling bored/tired, and then I feel like I have to hurry up.

I kind of prefer it. I just want to get in, get what I want, and get out. Going to the mall or around shopping with friends can be fun, but if I actually want to get something, I'll go alone. And it's pretty common, from what I've seen.

I love shopping online. I can get reviews, opinions, find loads of different prices and comparisons. I find it a lot easier than in "real life". :)
