Is it lame to go out alone?

I moved to a different country a year ago, for work. Unfortunately I still haven't made any solid friendships, so I mostly do stuff by myself. There is this bar near my place that I like going to, they organize various events often, and staff is great! I enjoy going but I always come alone... Is that lame?
