Should I go out on my own for new year's eve?

I was going to ask the people at work to see if they are going out tomorrow but no one is around today.
Should I go out on my own for a lot of drinks or just go to sleep?

Went out, nice food, lots of drink, now safely home by 21:30. Just felt I was throwing money at the bar but not getting drunk. Also pretty quiet.
