I don’t have many friends and the cousins are in for the night.
Dilemma, I still want to go out…

Trending & News To bars, not usually…. unless I’m traveling solo. In fairness, I’ve done that in Austin, TX and Los Angeles, not small towns or anything, so I found where the bar scenes were at. But all of those times I was able to find a person or a group I could charm my way in with (I go for either mixed crowds or large groups of women, I find them more receptive to me than just a bunch of other dudes. Another sausage added to the party, no thanks, right?😂 But out of town I just have to start speaking and everyone is enthralled by my accent, lmfao, it’s super easy to meet people. I’ve got a few good stories from the adventures too, haha. I go to concerts a lot, almost always alone, too. Certain venues just lend themselves to easier human interaction.
Anyway, nothing wrong with going out for a couple of drinks by yourself. You might attract some dudes if you’re by yourself, and I guess that depends on what you’re looking for and who the dudes in question are, haha. So there might be some wanted or unwanted attention. Maybe you meet someone and make a new friend, who knows? Never know what awaits you out there. You also might have two Cosmos and speak to no one and go home😂 It’s all on the table, lmao. So I say go for it. Just be careful and don’t accept any drinks that didn’t come to you from the bartender, and don’t let the drink out of your sight. Head on a swivel, it’s a crazy world out there. But other than that, I say go for it.
The older I get , the more I’m willing to go places by myself.
It may be lack of interest , it may be lack of money, it may be inability to coordinate schedules … but regardless you may not have someone to go with.
But don’t let that stop you!
Welcome
I really like enjoying things with people but I also need lots of alone time to recharge.
I take a walk or go to the park early in the morning or before sunset just enjoying the beautiful sky and cool breeze. I live in BC and it's pretty cool here as well as quiet which I love.
Thanks for the MHO!
Thank you I agree I love my family I love my friends and yet sometimes just taking a moment helps
So true and your welcome :)
Not really, though if I were in your situation I probably would. There's certainly nothing wrong with it.

I usually travel alone by myself, one time I went out to see a horror movie alone, I bought my own snacks since movie snacks are too expensive, I was alone but God was with me, everywhere I traveled so it was okay, I didn't feel alone
Are they there for you or something else? That would be pretty crappy if you abandoned them if they aren’t here for you. If not then who cares so long as you aren’t hurting anyone?
I guess the question would be... are you able to have fun when you're out by yourself?
if the answer is yes, then just go for it... lol
Yes I do. I just tend to be that way. I will meet up with friends a couple times a month but normally I do stuff by myself.
Nah. I'm shy, so I don't really enjoy going out alone. I need people with me to bring me out of my shell. Unless it's an event that I really want to attend.
When I was single, i did that quite often.
I still do it occasionally.
Go and have a good time.
I am a hermit by nature, so no.
Rarely.
I go out like once a week if i feel like it. Twice a week is rare.
I generally just go to a movie by myself or go out to shoot pool with whoever else is there.
