Girls would you or do you go to pubs or clubs by yourself?

I'm 45. I go bars and clubs by myself because there are not any women my age that want to. They prefer afternoon coffee shop or mediation class 😒

I spent my 20's in a relationship with an older man with drinking problems so we travelled the world but didn't go bars/clubs.

I had some time after thar relationship in my early 30's going out but had younger mates in their mid-20's to go with.

Then I was single mum raising my kids. So didn't go out at all for like 10 years.

Now I love it. And I'm way more confident at my age.

To be totally honest it is a bit nerve racking to go alone and I’d much rather be with someone I trusted, but most of my friends are either not the type to go to a bar or club, or not old enough to drink (by 1 year; gonna have so much fun when she’s old enough though).

So yeah I would go by myself and have before, but I don’t really recommend it unless you can find a group of girls, or a nice guy who you feel comfortable with asking to take you to your car/Uber.

Aww wow good on ya. And yay you gonna have so much fun cos even going with one friend is better than none. My daughter turns of age in July. So she can come with me. But she's not very social and it's also so uncool to hang with mum! Esp at bars. But I'm hoping I can at least get her out (she has social anxiety)

i could for a club or a certain type of bar, though really prefer going with people. i used to try going to random bars alone, but never again. did that when i was 16-18 and it was 99% dudes. depending on the bar it was either middle age dudes sipping cheap beer playing money games and horse race betting or 20-30yo thirsty construction worker dudes that will come hit you up immeditately

I voted simply because I wanted to see the results. Women who don't go out alone should not complain about not being able to find a guy. I realize there are safety concerns, but you don't have to go home with a guy, and you can take Uber/Lyft/Cab home afterwards.

If you want to meet a man, put yourself out there. Men do it.

I've totally done it before. I've gone sober and a little pre-gamed. A little liquid courage always helps me feel confident enough to enter a chat with people I don't know.

Unless I'm having the time of my life with a group of girls I found while out - I do try to tuck in around by midnight or whenever the club ratio starts turning into a sausage fest.

I think I made my decision and don't see any reason to go to loud places like clubs

and I frequent one Irish Pub with my friend... but also sometimes go there alone, especially to listen to my fav band

I use to if everyone was busy, and I dated. I'm not sitting home looking out my window. Take an Uber, tell the driver give me your number to pick me back up, if I need it. Don't get too 'runk. Bars and clubs have security and there's police. Yes.

Not a girl here but I do go to pubs/bars by myself every now and then, particularly if I’m traveling. I usually end up meeting people. And sometimes hooking up.

Oh nooooo. Yes it can be like that. But not cos of the bar. More because you get into your own head about "being alone".
I tried after my marriage ended and went bar. It was pretty much empty. I felt silly and alone. But still proud I proved I *could* do it.
Now... well. I had a ticket to a concert booked. It cancelled last minute. Rather than going home j went bar alone. There was a very sexy barman who not only asked me ID but looked out for me and talked to me. Later I started going alone but late. Like 10pm. When it's busy so you can get on dance floor and blend in. It's not so bad haha. Better with friends. But hey, don't ever let anything stop you doing something you wanna do.

One of my friends been single long time but doesn't like busy places. She has autism. A few others have partners and are pretty unhappy lol. But don't have energy to stay up past 9pm bedtime.
I go for loud music and dance. I hope when I get a partner he will wanna come with me. Not keep me home like a caged bird.

I did focus on my children. I didn't go out. Now they are older I can. And want to. I'm not ready to go to bed at 7pm after a cup of tea and episode of Downtown Abby or whatever dramas. Lol
