Consumerism and greed-capitalism paved the way for it. That's what apparently a majority of world dwellers wanted.
Us few who object to this will not be respected or heard - there's no money to make with 'us'.

Well, these muffin sites will never get anyone to pay a fee to make the pop-ups stop. I just went on YouTube and found out how to make them.

For now it's free of ads even in its basic version.

A few times. 99.999% of the time I have gotten so good at reacting to an ad that I close it, absent-mindedly, sometimes without registering what the ad was about.
