I just wanted to learn how to make banana, cashew, raisin, apple-cinnamon, oatmeal muffins. I wanted to surprise my brother and his wife for Christmas.

"Muffins are fun and easy to make, but erectile dysfunction is not fun."

Homemade muffins are a joy to make, but not if your gutters are clogged.

Muffins are amazing, but so are steel buildings.

Muffins can bring joy to the holidays, but not if you don't have life insurance.
Oh, for fuck's sake...
And Feliz Navidad!

Let me pop up with an offer you can't refuse...
wanna buy a good recipe?
:D
As for myself I tend to boycott items that are offered to me without having asked.
Dang! Me too. It's cyber terrorism.
You: How can I make homemade chili?
Them: So you want a Russian bride?
You: No, I want to make chili.
Them: So you're a racist?
You: No, I just want to make chili.
Them: What if she's from the Philippines?
LOL
Yes it is :)
And they do know it.
Why else are websites/apps offering (for a small fee :D ) to opt out of ads?
Consumerism and greed-capitalism paved the way for it. That's what apparently a majority of world dwellers wanted.
Us few who object to this will not be respected or heard - there's no money to make with 'us'.
Even our little conversation here will not change it. Unless we kidnap an aircraft and symbolically fly it into some symbolic construction.
Which of course is not a call to join terrorism (the type that terrorizes moneybag terrorism, that is).
Well, these muffin sites will never get anyone to pay a fee to make the pop-ups stop. I just went on YouTube and found out how to make them.
One other interesting way is a chat AI (I'm using ''ChatGPT).
For now it's free of ads even in its basic version.
A few times. 99.999% of the time I have gotten so good at reacting to an ad that I close it, absent-mindedly, sometimes without registering what the ad was about.
When I tried to learn how to make muffins, my screen was almost paralyzed by pop-ups. It reminded me of the days of dial-up. lol I felt trapped in pop-up hell!
No, what it does is annoy me.
But it must be working or they wouldn't do it. But at least it's not working on you and I.
Right. Lol
