But more seriously, most guys see clothes and shoes for their utility, while most women see them as fashion. They will buy clothes they don't really like for fashion reasons, or buy shoes that are uncomfortable or poorly constructed for fashion reasons, and they will throw away underwear or socks they've worn 3 times because of a loose thread.

Guys tend to go the opposite direction - yes, sometimes to a fault - but at least we are much less wasteful. I can't understand buying 20 pairs of footwear every year.

I don’t celebrate Christmas but someone at work got me these which is cute and thoughtful. Except minus I have a broken leg, I have sensory issues and socks and I aren’t exactly on quality terms. Kinda why I dread winter. I don’t kindle ankle things but nothing covering my ankles.

My mother used to buy me a set of underpants and undershirts every Christmas, from when I was a little boy until I was an aging adult. Since she passed away a several years ago, I have to buy my own now.
