Until recently pretty much classic style. Put up decorations and a tree. Presents around it. On Christmas day gather the family to take turns opening presents. Have a table of snacks laid out (that were started on Christmas eve). Cook a big turkey roast for dinner. Eat, drink be merry.

This year and last... I'll still do the dinner but my teens are not interested in Christmas anymore so I've cut down bothering with all the snacks and decorations.
Yep. U. S and U. K are very similar. And we are very influenced by American TV. My kids when small would say "side walk" and "closet" and "candy" instead of the British words "pavement" "wardrobe" and "sweets" haha.
