Would you give a gift to a close relative who had not been good to you?

When I mean had not been good to you is this year, this year this very close relative had done something that for that you and other relatives had stopped speaking with her for many months and still you dont intend to speak to her at all more. She did something without asking for permission if she could do it (it has to do with some legal family land/property issues). She used to be close to my mom and other relatives and and my mom never holds resentment to anyone, (she is a senior citizen ) but this year sorry she does not deserve to be given a gift as she did something without asking for permission to my mom first that in some way affected some legal stuff my whole family has in process. This relative (my first cousin and my mom niece) for many years had has some issues with other relatives but not to my mom or my siblings, we never hold grudges unlike other relatives, but this year, she did hit my sibligns and my mom nerves so not worth to give her anything.

I know this is the season for good deeds, etc but if this person had not been good to you, still would you give something to her or her immediately family also?
