Is Die Hard, and other movies like that, a Christmas movie?

Movies like Die Hard, Home Alone, and Lethal Weapon take place around Christmas time, so does that make them Christmas movies? If not, what do you define as making a movie a Christmas movie?

According to my ex it is. We often go back and forth on it in playful banter but he ultimately wins because majority of people say Die Hard is a Christmas movie even though I still think it's not. But I haven't seen it fully so I can't really weigh in heavily on whether it is or not.

There's a few notes a movie needs to hit to be a Christmas movie. Does it take place on or during holiday? Is there Christmas music? Does it incorporate Christmas themes? Die Hard checks all 3, so it's a Christmas movie. The sequel which is pretty much just the same movie different location is almost a Christmas movie, but doesn't hit home the Christmas vibes enough.

Yes, they are full of Christmas Spirit. I watched Die Hard yesterday it it filled me with Christmas cheer.
