Is it just me or are boxes getting more shallow?

I'm trying to find a rectangular box that deeper but all the boxes I found are square or rectangular but shallow. I'm trying to ship Christmas presents. and have a deadline I got to meet.

Visit a department store & talk to someone that stocks shelves or works in the receiving department & ask them for a cardboard box. They recycle them or throw them out anyway so you are doing them a favor by taking a few off of their hands.

I live in the county so maybe dollar general or the grocery store might have some boxes

You can find a box of any dimension if you aren't an idiot

You can just cut a larger box down to the size you want with a box trimmer. It scores the cardboard without cutting all the way through. I'm sure you can find them on Amazon.

Did know this device even existed I'll look in to it for future events. It's a little to late for what I'm doing now.

You actually only need a box cutter and metal straight edge. Just cut the outer skin so that the lid will fold inward. It may take some practice but you can do it.
