When were you jumpscared last time?

Well, I was studying physics chemistry whole evening without breaks and as soon as I was done with the chapter after around 4 hours of studying, I decided to check my tab and emails.

You know, I'm not the person to check email frequently but after submitting my application to few colleges I've been checking my gmail everytime I check my tab with hopes that I'll see any update... maybe even an acceptance letter.

So I opened my gmail with a weird agonising impatience and when I saw an email by University of XXX I was shocked because I kind of didn't expect it. I threw my tab on the bed and just sat for a moment, controlling my breath. And checked my tab again, turns out it's not any decision, just the University wishing happy holidays to applicants and informing them that the university and admission office will be closed till 5th January.

I'll reveal the universities I'm applying to after getting decision from all of them.

Since i drive all the time i get jump scared or just get apprehensive whenever im driving down a busy street and i see a car driving fast to a stop sign at an intersection. Every time i get worried they won’t stop like they are supposed to at the stop sign and don’t see me coming. so i intentionally slowdown and make sure they do.

yeah i been doing this gig economy stuff since 2017 so it's resulted in me becoming a very cautious driver now especially in a busy city with lots of terrible drivers like L. A. lol

When the IRS called me and said they were going to put me in jail because I owed $5000 in taxes. It was nice of them to call, giving me a chance to pay right away, so I wouldn't go to jail. That would've ruined the holidays!
