When’s the last time you fell?

I fell at work today.
I got a pair of non-slip shoes years ago and I loved them. They worked great.
so when they wore out, I bought the exact same pair again. But this pair doesn’t work as well despite being the exact same shoes.
The reviews were also mixed which proves that clearly there are batches of these shoes that weren’t made correctly.

So I slipped and fell straight on my ass lol. Which I knew was gonna happen eventually cause I’ve been slipping and sliding in these shoes for a while now. I’m just glad that I wasn’t carrying a tray or it wasn’t in front of a lot of people. I didn’t hurt myself either. Just landed in a puddle so my ass was wet lmao

Just a few days ago. I'm currently on crutches from an injury. So I was trying to take a shower and I got this huge step up into the bathroom.

So I'm thinking, how do I do this? So I was trying to hold onto the wall and sling my good left leg over the huge step. But then it's like, now what do I do with the other right leg? I try to pistol squat up there over an massive incline with a wet floor?

Then it's like maybe I can use my crutch somehow to serve as my right leg. So I was trying to sling the right crutch over it but it's slipping all over the place.

So geez. I think I need to dry the floor but I only have my one bath towel and I gotta make it all the way to the other side of the house to get another one. So I did, urghhh, and came back and with my shoulder on one crutch, tried to dry the floor.

But then in the process I slipped and fell and landed on my bad leg. "Argaargagrrghhhhh!" Then my crutches fell on me. "OMG !@#!@#@!#! BAARAAARGGHHH!" Then I tried to get up and fell again and I knocked my arm into towel hanger nearby and it fell as well. GAWWAAAADDD! FKIN SH@T MFIN WTF! 😂

I'm still young and fit so falls don't mean much to me yet, plus everyone says I always seem to bounce not bonk😂 my latest fall was just last week. I was drunk and tried to get out of a car without realising it we were still moving. We weren’t going fast but I stepped out sideways onto the road and immediately body slammed the ground. A bit road rash all over and a sore head but overall nothing to bad.

Last time I fell was I think in November. I fell in the same spot a few weeks before and fell on the same knee lol The sidewalk has a hole and I wasn't paying attention, just looking at my phone. I stepped in the hole rolled my ankle and fell on my right knee with all my weight. It hurt real bad but some guy seen me and was like are you alright? I jumped up quickly and was like yeah I'm fine. I grabbed my phone that was cracked and quickly walked away in pain. It still hurts now when I go up the stairs or walk for a long time. I don't walk on that side of the sidewalk anymore. lol

Thankfully not for a couple years now. Last time I fell, I was wearing big ass platform boots, and thought it’d be smart to walk down steep concrete stairs.. missed a step and fell down the rest of the stairs, landing straight on my knees, on the concrete pavement. My knees turned purple and blue for about a week after, luckily no other injuries.

It was just before I got my fake hip. I was climbing down a ladder and somehow my foot got caught. I tried to regain my balance but it kept getting worse. Finally I just went with it and tried to break my fall with my arms. Fortunately nobody saw me.

Last Wednesday, Jan.24. I was walking to my abdominal ultrasound appointment on an icy morning. I entered the skating rink icy parking lot of a store and fell on my bottom. About five minutes later, a man slid me on my butt to the bare sidewalk and I was able to continue to my appointed without further incident.

Three weeks ago, we had freezing rain. I stepped off a sidewalk and fell flat on my face. I knew I was going down and it was fast. My face hit the pavement and broke my glasses but otherwise i was unhurt. I got back up without any pain..

Last year I was putting a hoodie over my head and my legs gave way and I fell backwards and nearly cracked my head open but luckily it didn’t come to that just a bruised bum 🤦‍♀️
