We have a retired vet who comes to our church Food Pantry each week. He- in turn- brings his share of the food to the disabled vets that he preps meals for each week. We see that he gets an extra share to help his paying-forward-ministry. Whenever I clean out my closet -mostly clothes that have hardly been worn but no longer fit- I make sure he gets them for his vets. A great gift would be seeing that these vets wouldn't need help- that their wounds (physical/mental) would be healed and their strength returned.
