Today's the Feast of Stephen, so what you feasting on?

England has boxing day, Germany has second Christmas, but for us and the French, it's the feast of Stephen. Just like in the Carol,"Good King Wenceslas last looked out on the feasts of Stephen..."

But did you know in the USA it's not a holiday because that would be socialism and people are forced back to work.

But back to the question, what will you be feasting on

Left over turkey curry

Left over turkey sandwiches

Bubble and squeak with left over Christmas dinner

Cheese and crackers

Boxing day sales

Wine and beer

I have leftovers that i intend to wash down with hard cider.
For the record, despite today not being an official holiday, many people will have today off of work here in the US. If there was no chance of work yesterday, there’s a good chance of no work today. It’s not unlike Thanksgiving when Christmas falls on a Thursday or a Tuesday. It seems like Christmas was on a Wednesday last year, and i took off at noon on Tuesday and didn’t go back to work until the following Monday. I do know that i’m a special case.

Actually I was flying to Sweden and had bread rolls and some Mango rum i got at Edinburgh duty free
